Dylan Alcott, a tennis player and disability advocate, was among those honored, just hours after being awarded Australian of the Year. Patty Mills, Emma McKeon, Jessica Fox, Sam Kerr, and Daniel Ricciardo were among the other athletes honored.
Alan Finkel, a former top scientist, was honored for his contributions to science, national energy innovation, and research infrastructure competence. Along with six other people, he was named a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC).

Delta Goodrem, a singer, and actress is one of the recipients of the Member of the General Division of the Order of Australia (AM).
The award recognizes her efforts as the creator of the Delta Goodrem Foundation, as well as her involvement with cancer and children's hospital organizations.
